Perennial favorites Duke, Kentucky and North Carolina; as well as last year’s champions Louisville will look to add to their respective trophy cases. All the while, upstart Wichita state will be looking to prove analysts wrong and continue their unbeaten season, in what will once again prove to be the most exciting two weeks in all of college sports.
78th Masters Tournament
Augusta National Golf Club in Augusta, Georgia
After an amazing comeback in 2013 which catapulted him back to his number one ranking, Tiger Woods is the favorite to win at 5/1 for this year’s Masters. The Masters Tournament will also host several other notable contenders for the green jacket including: Phil Mickelson, former number one Rory McIlroy, and Adam Scott who won the tournament in 2013.
NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs
Get ready for another nail biting couple of months as the 16 best teams compete to lift Lord Stanley's cup. Chicago will be looking to repeat as winners, and capture the cup for the third time in the last five years. However, these labels mean little once the most difficult of all playoffs kicks off next month.
In a season with no shortage of story lines, the NBA playoffs should prove to be as exciting as ever. Will Lebron James’ star studded Miami Heat be able to capture its third straight NBA title, or is this the year that Kevin Durant and the Oklahoma City Thunder dethrone the Heat as the best team in the world? Adding to all this, the Clippers, Pacers and Spurs will also be looking to knock of the current champs as they to try to grab a hold of the Larry O’Brien Championship trophy.
